Puss in Boots 2 – The Last Wish will be released on December 3 and 4, which will then be available in all cinemas from the 7th. On the occasion of the arrival of the first Christmas holidays, therefore, the unforgettable feline friend of Shrek with a new and exciting adventure, suitable for adults and children.
The dangerous but very gentle cat first appeared in the second chapter of the saga, when he was hired by King Harold, who wants another mate for his daughter Fiona, in order to eliminate Shrek. Obviously and fortunately the plan does not succeed, quite the contrary. The ogre and the cat become friends and the feline also becomes a series regular character, appearing in later chapters as well.
It’s been over a decade since Dreamworks Animation brought it to the big screen, and it’ll be back soon. But what will this new animated film focus on? The cat will have to face a very difficult mission: to date, he has burned eight of his nine lives and, to recover them all, he will have to recover a magic star, capable of granting wishes.
In the original version and in the Italian version, the four-legged hero will once again be voiced by actor Antonio Banderas, who has also lent his voice in the previous films.

Puss in Boots 2 – The Last Wish is the sequel to Puss in Boots, released in theaters in 2011. In this new chapter, the hero will face a long and perilous journey in search of the legendary Wishing Star, located in the Black Forest. As its name suggests, this magic star has the power to grant any wish: the cat, in fact, intends to regain its eight lives.

However, the protagonist has only one life left and cannot afford to fail. For this, he will ask the help of his ex-girlfriend Kitty alias Velvet Paws. The kitten in the original version is voiced by actress Selma Hayek, while in Italian by Francesca Guadagno.
The duo will also be joined by a poor and beaten, but cheerful stray dog named Perro (voiced by Harvey Guillén in English, Riccardo Suarez in Italian). The three friends will have to get to the star before Goldilocks (Florence Pugh, Margherita De Risi) and the three bears and the Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura, Alessandro Budroni), a dangerous bounty hunter.
