Via Twitter, Warner Bros. released the first trailer for the “Legion of Super-Heroes” animation, highlighting Supergirl’s first encounter with the team.
In the plot, Kara is devastated by the loss of Krypton and struggles to adjust to her new life on Earth. Her cousin, Superman, sponsors her and offers her to leave her space-time to attend the Legion Academy in the 31st century, where she makes new friends and a new enemy: Braniac 5.
During this time, she must deal with a mysterious group called Dark Circle, who are looking for a powerful weapon kept in the Academy’s vault.

The voice cast includes Meg Donnelly (“American Housewife”) as Supergirl/Kara, Harry Shum Jr. as Brainaic 5, Darren Criss (‘Glee’) as the voice of Superman, Jensen Ackles (‘Supernatural’) as Batman and Matt Bomer (‘White Collar’) as The Flash.
“Legion of Super-Heroes” (in the original) still doesn’t have a release date.
