You can’t have not seen them…
Juliette Binoche is a French actress and former model born in 1964 in Paris. His excellence in interpreting the best titles has earned him very important awards such as the Volpi Cup, the Silver Bear, an Oscar and more. For this reason, it was not easy to draw up a list with the 5 films to see by Juliette Binoche that had the most success, even if her filmography is very long.
Obviously we could not start from the wonderful Cime Tempestose filmed in 1992, which is based on the homonymous novel written by Emily Bronte. The plot, like that of the novel, highlights the troubled love affair between the sweet but spoiled Catherine (Juliette Binoche) and the dark and passionate Heathcliff (Ralph Fiennes).
Second on our list, in chronological order, is Three Colors – Blue Film, shot in 1993. This film is part of a trilogy that Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski decided to shoot in honor of the French flag. In this dramatic story, which won her the prize for best female interpretation, Juliette Binoche plays Julie, a wife and mother who has to deal with the loss of her family. The woman will try to do everything not to suffer, even to erase all the memories that linked her to her late husband and daughter.
In third place, the bronze medal went to the film The English Patient, released in 1996 and based on the homonymous novel written by Michael Ondaatje. Winner of 9 Oscars including Binoche for Best Supporting Actress, the story takes place during the Second World War. The plot revolves around the destructive love affair between nurse Hana and the Hungarian count László Almásy.
Johnny Deep couldn’t miss
Obviously the fourth film that you cannot miss seeing is the wonderful, romantic and sweet (in every way) Chocolat from 2000. Juliette Binoche and the wonderful Johnny Depp will disturb the quiet and monotonous, apparently idyllic life of a village provincial. With their dances and their sinful meals all made with chocolate, they will wake up the sad and gray inhabitants of lethargy.

And here we are at the fifth film of our beautiful and painful list, Certified Copy released in 2010 made the prestige of Binoche, with the Prize for female interpretation at the Cannes Film Festival of the same year.
The plot shows what is expected of a classic newlywed couple, formed by the French gallerist Elle and the English writer James Miller. Too bad they’re not really married and in their perfect act they’ll learn a lot about real life.
