In Corriere della Sera, Lillo confided that everything has not always been easy in his life and that his characters have brought them with difficulty to the stage: “I grew up in Tor Pignattara, policeman dad, housewife mother. There was no money to buy me a Batman costume and then I got a crummy little dress borrowed from friends, a prince who didn’t even have a sword. I could only buy one comic a week, and that afternoon was wonderful. I was shy, curious, lonely.”

But I already had my schedule.
