Posaman’s “laughing fit” TV series

Directly from the success of Qui rit è fuori is born an atypical series which differs greatly from the original program: Sono Lillo. From the comic genius of Lillo Petrolo was born and Posaman, the superhero who was to make everyone laugh in Amazon talent. The public liked it so much that it became a phenomenon of society and more. Today, it is a television series created by the comedian himself and composed of eight episodes – directed by Eros Pugliesi – which will be available on Amazon Prime Video from January 5, 2023.

The first three episodes premiered in the non-competitive Freestyle section of the 17th Rome Film Festival, which ended on October 23. With on the red carpet of course Lillo Petrolo with the Posaman costume and a large part of the very big cast, director and production. Speaking of goodies from the first episodes, there are undoubtedly the many – and funny – guest stars: Valerio Lundini, Luis Molteni, Tiberio Timperi (who plays himself), Edoardo Ferrario, Emanuela Fanelli.

Synopsis of Sono Lillo: Posaman from comedy sketch to TV series

Sono Lillo tells the cry of an actor whose career is linked to a single mask that works: Posaman. And who is Posaman? A superhero, of course, with a very contemporary superpower – don’t wonder about its usefulness, it’s so useless – which one? Make perfect cover poses. In disguise? Lillo, the failed comedian, dumped by his wife (Sara Lazzaro) because he wants a more mature relationship – it’s no longer enough to make people laugh – with a very complicated family situation (his mother doesn’t consider him and his brother wants to ‘frame).

In his life, his agent – best friend with interest in the name on the plate of the company of entrepreneurs which can only be obtained by pressing Posaman – masterfully played by Pietro Sermonti. But Lillo’s troubles have put the superhero in the corner…at least for now.

A casting we laugh at

In addition to the innate comedy of Lillo Petrolo – needless to repeat that he has a face with a perfect mimicry for Posaman, but which makes you laugh without saying anything – who figures as the creator of the subject himself. With director Eros Puglisi (Idols of Women, Copperman, Nevermind) they have chosen the most beloved actors of the contemporary scene.
