In the mountains, the freezing point should be between 3,700 and 3,800 meters above sea level. The melting of the glaciers will continue in an increasingly dramatic way. Anticyclone like in June

Antonio Sanò, director and founder of iLMeteo.it announces that after the rains, still quite heavy, in the North, the anticyclone will begin to engulf our country with increasing tenacity. Apart from the return of the morning fog, locally dense, on the Po Valley, we will spend days as if we were in the middle of June. In all regions the sun will prevail, the sky will be clear or only locally a little cloudy, the temperatures will record truly exceptional values ​​for the period.

Abnormal temperatures

The temperatures will be the protagonists. In the next few days, we will have truly exceptional temperature anomalies. Up to + 6 / + 8 degrees over almost all of Italy. This means that during the day it will easily reach 26-27 degrees from north to south. On the two main islands, Sicily and Sardinia, these values ​​will exceed 30-32 ° C in inland areas. These anomalies are part of the larger picture of climate change, with temperatures steadily rising through the seasons.

This is a trend that started a few decades ago (at first slowly) and has accelerated sharply in recent years. And there is no good news for November. The latest elaborations of the main meteorological models leave no doubt. It will be the turn of the Halloween anticyclone: ​​a new and vast anticyclonic field that will continue to protect Italy.

All this does not mean that, as is known, between September and October, various regions of Italy suffered very serious effects due to waves of bad weather. The Sicily Region has just declared a state of crisis and emergency lasting 6 months due to damage in many areas of the island after the torrential rains of the past few weeks.
