After the strikes ended in November of 2023, production is scheduled to begin in December 2023 and last until July 2024. 

Given this, Strange New Worlds Season 3 will probably be released in the late summer or fall of 2024. This would free up the season for Discovery to make its last appearances without having to contend with a rival series vying for viewers’ attention. 

However, nothing is definite, and because the fifth season of Star Trek: Lower Decks is probably going to premiere in 2024.
