Everything We Know About Loki Season 3

We all have been waiting to know if Loki season 3 is on the cards. If yes, then when is the season releasing? Let’s explore that. According to sources, Loki will most likely not have a third season at this time.

Erik Martin, who is the show’s lead writer, said that he and the other writers planned for the show to have two seasons. Loki’s future in the MCU is unclear after the end of season 2. But a different kind of Loki might be possible in a future project.

Loki Season 3 Release Date Speculation

Loki hasn’t been officially renewed or canceled yet, so it’s still hard to say what will happen with it. However, there were strong hints in some interviews that the show would not be back after the end of season 2.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Tom Hiddleston said that the finale was “the conclusion of season 2.” It also marks the end of both seasons 1 and 2. It’s also the end of 14 years, 6 movies, and 12 episodes of my life.

Tom later said that he can’t really say when he’s done with Marvel, but a lot of fans thought that meant he was leaving the character for good. While on Phase Zero, Tom said, “It’s so hard because I’ll be completely honest with you, Brandon, I have at least twice in my life said goodbye.”

If that does happen, Marvel will probably say something official about it. Because they already have so much planned, it might take a while before we find out the answer and how it fits into the rest of the story they have in mind.

What To Expect From Loki Season 3?

Comic Book Movie also planned for the show to have two parts. In season 2, Loki learns how to control his ‘time-slipping,’ which he uses to go back in time more and more. He does this to keep the universe from collapsing in on itself. Something new might go wrong in the third season if there is one.

The main idea behind the show is that after stealing the Tesseract, a different version of Loki is brought to the Time Variance Authority (TVA). The TVA is a government agency that keeps an eye on the schedule. If there would be another season, it would be more engaging.

Loki Season 3 Cast

The main cast from Loki season one came back for season two, and most of them might come back for season 3 if that happens. There may be other versions of God of Stories who look like Tom Hiddleston out there, but the one played by Hiddleston might not be able to leave his throne. It’s not clear if that would take away from his sacrifice.

Sophia Di Martino’s female version of Kang, Sylvie, could come back. Jonathan Majors, who plays Victor Timely in Kang the Conqueror, could come back as the good version of Kang.

Because the end of Loki season 2 sets up the TVA as watchers of Kang versions, any of the agents and hunters could make a return. Owen Wilson plays TVA agent Mobius M. Mobius, Wunmi Mosaku plays major TVA Hunter B-15, Ke Huy Quan plays Ouroboros, AKA OB, and Eugene Cordero plays Casey. Miss Minutes with Tara Strong has also been reprogrammed, so if the TVA comes back, she will too.

Jonathan Majors’ He Who Remains is the least likely to come back because his death was briefly undone by Loki’s sacrifice and then made official. Judge Ravonna Renslayer, played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw, ended up in the Void, where she had to fight Alioth, the realm’s guardian monster. The future does not look good for her though.

Conclusion

Whatever the future of Loki season 3 holds, we do hope we get to watch the characters once again. It has a good cast, plot, and execution. The characters are well-rounded and the way they relate to each other is admirable. The show is definitely worth watching. What are your thoughts on this? Let us know in the comment box!
