In the end, Jack and Nikki are seen on a beach, in love, and in a romantic moment, Jack lifts her up. This gives us hope for a potential romance in the upcoming season, with trials and tribulations coming up from their shared past and their work line. 

Emilia Fox, the lead actress, revealed to an outlet that she keeps a chart to track the possible storylines while shooting the show. 

She said, “I find it really helpful. We often film out of sequence, and so you have to remember what information the character already knows during certain scenes, because otherwise — and particularly at the speed that we film — we’re coming into scenes thinking ‘Where are we in this story?’ and ‘Was that in the last script or was that here?’” 

Moreover, we can expect the gripping plots and mysteries that are a part of the show, and unique ways of solving them. Whatever happens, it will be an exciting few weeks for us viewers!
