Dwayne Johnson announces the shooting of “Black Adam” last week; Check!

Through his official Instagram account, star Dwayne Johnson provided a new update on the long-awaited ‘Black Adam’ project, revealing that the crew have now entered the final week of filming for the feature film.

“This week is one of the most important – our last week of production for ‘Black Adam’,” he wrote.

While information about the tale remains withheld, fans already know that Black Adam is the primary antagonist for the hero known as Shazam. In modern times, however, the character has grown into an extremely complex and troubled antihero – becoming one of the most important creations in the DC pantheon.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (“Aguas Rasas”), the film will take place in the same universe as “Shazam!

Johnson (Black Adam), Aldis Hodge (Black Hawk), Quintess Swindell (Cyclone), Noah Centineo (Atom Crusher) and Pierce Brosnan (Doctor Doom).
