‘Zombie Invasion’ director to direct Netflix’s new TERROR series

According to Deadline, filmmaker Yeon Sang-ho (“Zombie Invasion”) will direct horror series “The Bequeathed,” which is being developed by Netflix.

The production will tell the story of a subject deeply rooted in Korean tradition: family cemeteries.

In the plot…

Yun Seo-ha is a young woman who inherits an estate after her uncle’s sudden death and becomes the target of sinister events unfolding at the estate’s family cemetery.

The cast will include Kim Hyun-joo, Park Hee-soon, Park Byung-eun, and Ryu Kyung-soo.

In addition to creating the series, Yeon Sang-ho will also write the script.
