And with the end of production coming up, actress Sutton Foster reflected on her journey before the narrative, revealing what she will miss most:
“I will miss everything that goes on behind the scenes. I will miss spending time with them, sharing photos, laughing together and even our crochet club … We had so much fun and have been together for several days in a row. It should be remembered that Miriam Shor (Diana Trout) and Charles Michael Davis (Zane Anders) have left the fixed cast of the series, but will return on a recurring basis.
“Due to scheduling issues and complications caused by the COVID pandemic, Miriam Shor and Charles Michael Davis were unable to return as part of the fixed cast for season seven,” creator Darren Star said in a communicated. “However, they will always be a fundamental part of our family and have added a lot of heart and soul to the series.”
Created by Darren Star (“Sex and The City” and “Emily in Paris“), the series is based on the eponymous book written by Pamela Redmond Satran.
The plot follows Liza (Foster), a single mother who suddenly finds herself back in the workforce again, but her age will become a factor of difficulty. However, things change when she meets Maggie (Mazar), who thinks she looks a lot younger than she really is. She ends up working as an assistant and befriends co-workers in her twenties, like Kelsey (Duff).
The cast includes Sutton Foster, Miriam Shor, Debi Mazar and Nico Tortorella.
