The sequel to the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon, “Legally Blonde 3,” has raised so many expectations that some actors have expressed interest in reprising the role.
Selma Blair, who played Vivian Kensington in the first feature, revealed to Entertainment Tonight that she hopes to return to the franchise.
“Legally Blonde is a joy, a Technicolor classic now. Reese is really into it, you know, she loves her fans and she loves this movie and it’s a lot of fun,” Blair told the site.
Blair commented that Reese was inspired by the Tom Cruise film to make a third film and was supporting the sequel. “I know she said she saw ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and the nostalgia it brought, and it’s like – we have to bring back Legally Blonde,” he said.
“Legally Blonde” follows Elle Woods (Witherspoon), a seemingly vain young woman who tries to prove her intelligence in law school after being dumped by her boyfriend. Selma Blair played Vivian, a college roommate who becomes Ellie’s friend from a rival in the first film.
