With the holiday season and the restrictions on the COVID-19 pandemic, “Wonder Woman 1984” suffered a steep drop in its second week at the box office in Brazil.
The heroine feature film grossed R $ 2 million and was watched by more than 110,000 people between Thursday (31) and Sunday (3), according to ComScore.
For comparison, the film is down almost 80% from its opening week, when it took 494,000 people to theaters and raised 8.7 million reais.
Huge public and critical success, “Wonder Woman 1984” continues to be broadcast only in theaters in Brazil, following all the security protocols required by specialists and public authorities in the sector.
Worldwide, the film already totals 119 million reais.
