The new episodes take place during the great stock market crash of 1929, a moment of glory for the character of Sam Claflin, who sees his rise on the political scene.

The series follows a gangster family in early 20th century England and also stars Tom Hardy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory and Annabelle Wallace.
