We need to get back to St. Vladimir’s Academy. Vampire Academy was trending on Twitter at the time, and spectators adored the show. The first season drew a large number of audiences, which makes us wonder if there will be a second season. Lissa, a royal vampire, and Rose, her best friend, and defender, navigate romance, class conflict, and ancient miracles at their boarding school in the series.

The first season of the show featured a total of ten episodes that kept spectators engaged. Vampire Academy was a “story of friendship, romance, and danger,” according to the write-up. Unlike the movie, it does not transform a specific book from Mead’s series, but rather carries the fundamentals, motivations, and aspects from the six novels to tell a new tale. ‘Vampire Academy’ Season 2 Is Canceled At Peacock

The amazing show ‘Vampire Academy’ was recently canceled by the streaming platform Peacock. That means there will be no more seasons of the show. The audience was annoyed because they enjoyed the story a lot.

The official Twitter account of the series writer group also retweeted a number of tweets from viewers regarding the show’s renewal. Unfortunately, the story has come to an end. The reason for the cancellation has also been revealed. Peacock executives were pleased with Vampire Academy’s creative aspects, but they lacked the necessary viewers to confirm additional seasons.

The official synopsis of the series reads, “In a world of privilege and glamour, two young women’s friendship transcends their strikingly different classes as they prepare to complete their education and enter vampire society. One was a powerful Royal, the other a half-vampire Guardian trained to protect against the savage Strigoi who threaten to tear their society apart. That is if Royal infighting doesn’t do the job first.”

Vampire Academy Cast & Creator Talked About Book To Show Alterations

We already know that there were changes between the book and the show. And the series’ cast and creator discussed the ‘modernized’ look.

Jonetta Kaiser said, “It’s modernized. It’s timely. 2022 It’s. It’s [the] books written 15 years ago expanded upon. “The characters have more of a storyline, which you may not have seen in the books, or if it was just jammed into a movie, you know. We have one-hour episodes and 10 of them.”

Basically, this is a story about two best friends navigating this vampire world where there’s a class system, and they’re basically in completely opposite ends of it,” Daniela Nieves said.

Adding, “There’s just a lot of tension between their friendship and them being able to live their life the way they want to. Then, there are a lot of secrets uncovered. It’s sexy, it’s fun. There are bad vampires that show up in the world.”

Creators Julie Plec and Marguerite MacIntyre also dropped in their statements.

Marguerite said, “The political system is starting to come apart at the seams, the class system is pulling people apart, and how that affects this core beautiful friendship at the center of Lissa and Rose, and what they’ll have to do to maintain this friendship that the world is trying to pull them apart. There are certain things that, we’ve tightened up.

The age between Rose and Dimitri, because, that was a little something that we might not do now. She’s of age. She’s still learning, but she’s of age. He’s also not her teacher … it’s all a little bit different, but the romance is there. The relationship is still there, and actually, the depth of their relationship is really strong.”
