Another amazing show titled ‘Copenhagen Cowboy’ has been added to the streaming platform Netflix. And we’re guessing you’re already expecting a second season. Copenhagen Cowboy is a thriller series that focuses on the natural and supernatural.
The storyline is engaging, and it revolves around the main character Miu, who is on a quest for justice for herself. She seeks vengeance after an entire life of slavery. Rakel, her arch-enemy, appears. They both embark on an odyssey through Copenhagen’s criminal underworld.
The official synopsis reads, “After a lifetime of being sold as a human good luck charm, a woman with mysterious supernatural abilities seeks revenge against those who wronged her.” Let’s get into the depth of another season. Because we want answers.
Is ‘Copenhagen Cowboy’ Season 2 Happening On Netflix?
The six-episode thriller series Copenhagen Cowboy has been a success among audiences. From the characters to the overall plot of the show, everything has been phenomenal. However, there is still no word on a second season.
And it’s not surprising given how recently the series was released and how long it takes to announce another season. Because the streaming platform Netflix takes time to evaluate the audience’s viewership and reviews, in addition to their response to the season.
If a large number of people have been watching Copenhagen Cowboy, we can expect another season to be announced soon. And the release could be around 2024. Because it takes some time for all the production.
But the team is already in for Copenhagen Cowboy season 2. Because they already have a script in mind. And all it needs is to be approved for a continuation.
There Is Already Plans For ‘Copenhagen Cowboy’ Season 2
Though the show is still not confirmed for another season the director made some statements.
When asked about the second season the director Nicolas Winding Refn of the series said, “We’ve written a treatment, so let’s see. I wouldn’t mind one bit.”
The director also said to another outlet, “The theatrical market is in its own re-definition of existence. For cinema to survive, we need to go back and make films again. There also needs to be an ecosystem that reflects the opportunities.
Streaming has forced the theatrical market to reinvent themselves as well. I don’t think theatrical will ever go away. I think theatrical will always exist, but it needs to be challenged in order to become better, more sufficient, and more meaningful.”
He then added, “I think I’m going to make a movie next year.”
That means another season is dependent on the acclaimed director’s schedule. If there is a second season, we can expect a continuation of the storyline and possibly the return of some of the first season’s characters.
There could be more mysteries to overcome, and another season would be an incredible watch for the spectators.
