To date, there are nearly two billion active users on WhatsApp, but the experience can often get boring when friends and relatives add you to groups without your consent. Sometimes, even worse, it even happens that you get added to large groups such as those in college or even group chats of strangers. But there is actually a way to protect yourself from these people. In fact, the trick is very simple and effective which does not involve the installation of new applications. This way, you will avoid ending up in ugly WhatsApp groups.
Then just open the app and click on Settings. Next, you will need to go to ‘Account’ and then click on ‘Privacy’. In this section of the platform, you can choose the type of interactions to have with other contacts. Click on “Groups” and you will be given the option to choose who can add you to a WhatsApp group. The standard chosen is of course ‘All’. Indeed, you can edit and choose “Your contacts”, i.e. only those saved in your address book, or “My contacts except…”, by checking those to be excluded from the list.

In the past few hours, WhatsApp submitted beta version number 22.21.0.71 for iOS to the TestFlight beta program. Yesterday, the Meta messaging service decided to test the new functions also for the Android beta, finding the consent of millions of users. So the app decided to experiment with a long-requested feature. This new tool therefore makes it possible not to take screenshots of photos that can only be viewed once.
The instant messaging service therefore wants to finally protect this type of images, also giving meaning to the new function introduced several months ago. Moreover, users can rest assured that the app will also block screen recording in case such type of photo is displayed. The first screenshots regarding this trick adopted by WhatsApp have also emerged on the net.
