“I said it to the allies and I also say it to you who are the team of the Brothers of Italy in Parliament and we aim to create an authoritarian and high-level government, which begins with competence. Our goal is to give this nation the most authoritarian government possible. There is no place for secondary questions in relation to this objective”. These are the words of Giorgia Meloni to the assembly of elected party members in Parliament.

“When you enter Parliament, you will have to think of all Italians”

“We are aware of the result we have achieved and we feel the responsibility of having to face a governmental challenge in the most difficult conditions in which Italy could find itself. Every time you enter Parliament you have to think about all the Italians who, on September 25, saw their hope in us and put their future in our hands, just as you will have to think of all those who did not vote for us because, in some cases, they lost hope And we should work to change their minds.”

Giorgia Meloni: “We will have to be a model of inspiration”

“We broke the mould, creating several shorts to the left and into the mainstream. We are a completely different thing to anything seen so far. We are not inspired by anyone but we are our history and we would like to be a model of inspiration for others tomorrow”.

The assembly of the elect of the Brothers of Italy was held in Montecitorio. Familiar faces and new members of Parliament took part: Giulio Tremonti, Carlo Nordio, Nello Misumeci, Livia Mannunni, Alessandro Amorese, Grazia Di Maggio, Chiara Colosimo, Francesco Lollobrigida, Luca Ciriani, Giovanni Donzelli, Giovanbattista Fazzolari and others.
