‘Umma’: Supernatural Terror Synopsis produced by Sam Raimi with Sandra Oh

The supernatural horror “Umma”, produced by Sam Raimi, won the synopsis.

Sandra Oh (“Killing Eve“) stars in the production.

“Umma, which is a Korean word for ‘mother,’ follows Amanda (Oh) and her daughter leading a peaceful life on an American farm, but when her mother’s ashes arrive from Korea, Amanda begins to be haunted by the fear of become your own mother.

The project was acquired by Sony Pictures, which will distribute the feature film on the international market.

Iris K. Shim wrote the screenplay and will be responsible for directing.

The cast also includes Fivel Stewart, Dermot Mulroney, Odeya Rush, MeeWha Alana Lee and Tom Yi.

André Øvredal (“Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”) will be the executive producer of the feature film.
