As “Guardians of the Galaxy” will be part of the plot of “Thor: Love and Thunder,” the feature film will feature director James Gunn as a creative storytelling consultant.
The information was confirmed by Gunn himself, responsible for showing The Guardians on the big screen in the two team films.
When a fan asked him about the subject via Twitter, the filmmaker revealed the novelty and even praised the work of Taika Waititi (‘Thor: Ragnarok’), who returns as director of the streak.

“Just out of curiosity, do you recommend the Guardians in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’?” The fan asked.
To which Gunn replied:
“Yes. I did that. They are in good hands with Taika Waititi.

Recalling that the filming of the feature film has finally started.
On the first day of recording, Waititi shared behind-the-scenes footage.
The shared recordings show Waititi, Chris Hemsworth and part of the film crew being received by the indigenous peoples of Australia in a celebration watered by traditions and artistic manifestations.
Sharing the moment through his official Twitter account, the director also reflected on the importance of filmmakers engaging with a nation’s indigenous peoples, every time they record their films.
Check-out:
“I started“ Amor e Trovão ”with the welcoming ceremony of the country, the Gamay dancers, the Gadigal and Bidiagal and the Maori prayers of Te Aranganui. I encourage all filmmakers to engage with the former, every time they record their films. It is worth it and the right thing to do ”.
Started Love & Thunder with the welcoming ceremony to the country by dancers Gamay from Gadigal & Bidiagal Nation and karakia from Te Aranganui. Recalling that the main cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Christian Bale, as well as Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel and Karen Gillan representing the “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
The Comic Book recently reported that the sequel received a rather curious production title: “The Big Salad”.
It’s likely that the choice of the call had to do with a specific moment of the God of Thunder (Hemsworth) in ‘Avengers: Endgame’: in a certain scene, the hero goes into depression after being defeated by Thanos ( Josh Brolin), leading – to gain weight and be pushed by his mother, Frigga, who tells him to eat a plate of salad.
Directed by Taika Waititi, the new film is set to premiere on February 11, 2022 (opening of the American Valentine’s Day weekend).
