Previously, showrunner Erick Kripke confirmed that the spinoff will run parallel to the end of Season 3, indicating that some familiar faces from the original series may end up appearing.
“We’re definitely going to have a crossover, and we’re doing our best to explore some of the narratives from the third season of ‘The Boys’ in the first season of the spin-off. There’s a presidential campaign going on behind the scenes in the story and there are also some things happening at school that are a consequence of the events of “The Boys” Season 3.
He adds, “There are also stories in the spin-off series that we will come back to after season four of the main series.”
The cast will include Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Marco Pigossi, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Shelley Conn.
Still without a premiere date, the plot will explore the lives of teenage superheroes as they test their physical, sexual and deadly limits, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.
