Night Court Season 2 Release Date
You should know that Night Court season 2 has already been renewed. The streaming network NBC already renewed the series for another season in February 2023. Now when will the Night Court soon be in session?
Unfortunately, there are no specific updates on that. Night Court actually got hit hard and has been indefinitely delayed due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike and the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Therefore, we don’t have a release date at the moment. Once the strike ends we can receive more updates on the release date.
Well, we can expect the season to make a comeback in 2024. When speaking about another season of Night Court Melissa made an official statement.
She said, “We’re just starting to talk about it now. The writers’ room has started and we’re figuring out what those things are gonna be. I’m excited to learn more about all the characters.
Since these relationships are newly formed, I can’t wait to see where all of those are gonna go. I love the cases that come into that courtroom so much, and I’m excited to see what other amazing, fun, left-of-center cases will come through those doors in Season 2.”

In addition, Channing Dungey, Chairman and CEO, of Warner Bros. Television Group confirmed that Night Court is a hit amongst the audience.
“The verdict is in and the ‘new-boot’ of Night Court is a hit! The series’ razor-sharp humor makes the show a weekly must-watch. We’re overjoyed that the court will remain in session and return with new cases for season two. We’re so grateful to our colleagues at NBC, to the richly talented creative team led by Melissa Rauch, Winston Rauch, Dan Rubin, and John Larroquette, and to the stellar ensemble cast.”
