‘The Simpsons’: Halloween Special Will Parody ‘It: The Thing’; Check out the pictures!

FOX has released the first promotional images for the Halloween episode of the 33rd season of the animated ‘The Simpsons’, which will parody the horror ‘It: The Thing’.

Titled Treehouse of Horror Presents: Not It, the episode will air on October 23.

“When a supernatural clown begins killing the children of Kingfield, young Homer Simpson teams up with other misfit children to face their fears and defeat the mysterious monster. But years later, the evil clown returns and the friends of ‘Homer must face the tragedy of their adult lives to destroy Krusto once and for all.

Created by James L. Brooks, Matt Groening and Sam Simon, it is the longest-running animated comedy series in American television history.

The plot follows the satirical adventures of a working-class family in the misfit town of Springfield.

The production features the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Harry Shearer, Julie Kavner, Yeardley Smith, Hank Azaria and Pamela Hayden.
