Netflix has officially renewed “The Lincoln Lawyer” series, starring Neve Campbell (“Scream”), for season 2.
The production recorded more than 884 million minutes viewed, guaranteeing the TOP 2 of the Nielsen Ratings ranking. What’s more, the series has also attracted an atypical audience for the streaming service model, with more than two-thirds of its viewers being over the age of 50.
Dailyn Rodriguez (“Queen of the South”) will take over as co-showrunner for the next cycle alongside Ted Humphrey.

Created by David E. Kelley, the series is based on Michael Connelly’s “Inside the Law” saga.
The plot follows iconoclastic idealist Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) who runs a law firm from the back of his car, working on big and small cases in Los Angeles. After some time away from the law, Mickey tries to find a new path in the profession. When he returns to Los Angeles, he is faced with a mystery to solve once he starts his new business.
The cast also includes Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson and Christopher Gorham.
