The new Netflix feature film directed and scripted by Scott Cooper (“Crazy Heart”), “The Pale Blue Eye” has gained new images, which have been released by Vanity Fair.

The film is scheduled to premiere on January 6, 2023, but before that, there will be a limited theatrical screening from December 23 this year.

According to the official description, Bale plays retired detective Augustus Landor, assigned to investigate a series of murders that took place in the 1830s at the United States Military Academy.
Of particular interest to audiences is that Edgar Allan Poe is a central character in the story, and it was recently revealed that Harry Melling (Dudley Dursley in the Harry Potter franchise) will be playing him.
