The Neighborhood Season 6 Is Already Renewed

The Neighborhood is renewed early, and season six is already in the works. There will be more stories to discover, in addition to the main characters’ sense of humor. The popular comedy will return to the screen in 2023-2024.

According to CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach, the series is a success not only because it delivers happy moments but also because it tells stories of cultural significance. In addition, it was disclosed that the series is filming its 100th episode this week.

She said, “The Neighborhood has become a hit by not only delivering laughs but by telling stories of cultural impact. From gentrification to Black Lives Matter, to addiction and pregnancy loss, the incredible writers and this amazing cast push boundaries and endlessly entertain us.

As they film their 100th episode this week, directed by Cedric the Entertainer, we are thrilled to announce that we are welcoming this outstanding series back for a sixth season.”

The series premiered its latest episode ‘Welcome to the Cornhole’. Season 5, Episode 11 synopsis reads, “When Tina insists Calvin find something to do in retirement, he decides to enter a competitive cornhole tournament; Marty plans an elaborate ‘groom-posal’ to ask Malcolm to be his best man.”

The Neighborhood Season 6 Is Scheduled To Release This Fall

Along with the renewal announcement, the series’ official social media handle revealed that the sixth season will be released this fall.

The Neighborhood team penned, “We’re throwing a block party and you’re invited because ‘The Neighborhood’ has officially been picked up for season six!”

The official synopsis of the series reads, “When Dave Johnson and his family arrive from Michigan, they’re unfazed that their new dream home is located in a community quite different from their previous small town.

However, their opinionated next-door neighbor Calvin Butler is wary of the newcomers, certain that they’ll disrupt the culture on the block. Dave realizes that fitting in with the new community is more complex than he had expected, but if he can find a way to connect with Calvin, there’s an excellent chance of making the new neighborhood a great place to live.”
