‘The Morning Show’: ‘Invasion on Las Vegas’ Tig Notaro Joins Season 3 Cast

According to Deadline, Tig Notaro, a comedian best known for his work on “Army of the Dead: Invasion of Las Vegas,” has been cast in the third season of “The Morning Show.”

Notaro has been signed for a major role in upcoming episodes and will co-star alongside the recently announced Jon Hamm and Nicole Beharie.

The actress will play Amanda Robinson, chief of staff to titan Paul Marks (Hamm). More details were not revealed.

Recalling that Julianna Margulies (“The Good Wife”) has had her return confirmed in the next iteration.

The actress plays Laura Peterson, a journalist introduced in the production’s second cycle, who had a love interest in Bradley, a Reese Witherspoon character.

About her character, Margulies said: “Laura is completely different from the other characters on the show because she is 100% comfortable with herself. She is the only character in the series who does not have skeletons in her closet. It’s all common knowledge and she’s the best at what she does, with no fear of anything being taken away from her.

The series was created by Jay Carson and Kerry Ehrin.
