After the completion of the 1st season of ‘House of the Dragon’, HBO is now launching the platform spotlight for the series ‘The Last of Us’, which won an official premiere date this Wednesday (02).
The production will be released on January 15 on the HBO Max platform. Check out the new poster below confirming the new release date:

Recalling that the series is based on the game franchise that bears the same name and was born on PlayStation 3 and has currently received a new version of the first game on PlayStation 5, with improved graphics and gameplay. The game is developed by the Naughty Dog studio, considered one of Sony’s biggest hits.
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey portray Joel and Ellie respectively.
The cast will also include Nick Offerman, Anna Torv, Merle Dandridge, Nico Parker, Jeffrey Pierce, Con O’Neill, Murray Bartlett, Natasha Mumba and Storm Reid.
Peter Hoar (‘Daredevil’), Kantemir Balagov (‘A Tall Woman’), Ali Abbasi (‘Sheiley’), Jasmila Zbanic (‘Quo Vadis, Aida’), Craig Mazin (‘Chernobyl’), Neil Druckmann (creator of game), Liza Johnson (“Barry”) and Jeremy Webb (“The Umbrella Academy”) are part of the director’s team.
The plot takes place twenty years after the destruction of modern civilization. Brutal survivor Joel is hired to rescue 14-year-old Ellie from an oppressive quarantine zone. What begins as a small job quickly becomes a brutal and painful journey as the two must cross the United States and depend on each other to survive.
The series was created by Craig Mazin (“Chernobyl”), who is also the adaptation’s writer and executive producer alongside Druckmann.
