‘The Hound’: Zoey Deutch from ‘Zumbilândia 2’ to star in new horror

According to Deadline, Zoey Deutch (“Zombie: Shoot Twice”) will star in the horror “The Hound,” which is in development by Searchlight Pictures.

The story will follow around Callie, a shy babysitter. After being bitten by a mysterious wild dog, she must fight dark desires as her body begins to undergo unexpected transformations.

The plot seems to suggest that the production is a werewolf movie, but it’s not yet clear if the movie will have a comedic tone.

Lisa Duva is responsible for the script.
