According to THR, “The Conjuring 4” is officially in development.
David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, screenwriter of ‘The Conjuring 2’ and ‘The Conjuring 3: The Devil’s Order’, has been hired to write the script for the new sequel.
James Wan and Peter Safran are also returning as producers.
Unfortunately, plot details have not been revealed.
Remember that the next chapter of this universe will be “The Nun 2”, the shooting of which has already started in France.
Remembering that Taissa Farmiga confirmed her return as Sister Irene, who will once again face the demon Valak.

“1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the hit “The Nun” will follow Sister Irene as she returns to face the demon VALAK – the demon nun, face to face.
The first film was set in Romania in 1952, so the sequel will be set four years after the events of the original.
Bonnie Aarons will reprise her role as the demonic creature. Storm Reid (“Euphoria”) rounds out the cast.
Michael Chaves, ‘The Curse of La Llorona’, directs.
Horror is set to air on September 7, 2023.
The new film was written by Akela Cooper (“Evil”).
