‘The Boys’: Reina Hardesty joins the cast of the spinoff series

According to Deadline, Reina Hardesty (“The Flash“) has joined the cast of the spin-off series “The Boys,” which will be set at a college for the gifted.

The actress will play one of the protagonists, but details about her character have not been disclosed.

The cast will also include Jaz Sinclair (“The Dark World of Sabrina“), Lizze Broadway (“Here and Now”), Shane Paul McGhie, Aimee Carrero and Maddie Phillips.

The plot will explore the lives of teenage superheroes as they test their physical, sexual and deadly limits, competing for the best contracts in the best cities.

The series will mix the academic theme with “The Hunger Games“, bringing the satire and daring of the main series.

Craig Rosenberg will be the showrunner and write the pilot’s screenplay.

Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will be the producers of the spin-off.
