‘The Boys’ co-creator reveals never-before-seen poster for season 2

On his Twitter profile, Darick Robertson, co-creator of the comic book that gave birth to the series ‘The Boys’, posted an incredible unseen poster for the second season.

Initially, the artwork was created to be published at San Diego Comic Con, which ended up being canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Recalling that the filming of the 3rd season of ‘The Boys’ is already underway, and that it seems that the new episodes will be even more violent than those of the previous seasons.

In an interview with Collider, Laz Alonso, interpreter of Leitinho de Mamãe, said that the next season will be a real bloodbath.

“During the 2nd season, we exceeded certain limits, but the 3rd will be crazy, it will be a real bloodbath. I was talking to the person in charge of taking care of the gallons of fake blood… Season 2 is considered heavy and we only spent 1 gallon of blood, but now 3 have been ordered, you know?

The previous season, a whale had been run over by a speedboat piloted by Billy Bruto (Karl Urban) and dozens of heads had exploded in scenes worthy of the bloodbath of “Carrie, The Stranger” …

So it’s not hard to imagine that the 3rd will break down the barriers of the bizarre that have been shown so far.

Created by Evan Goldberg, Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen, the series is based on the eponymous comics launched in 2006.
