“Sweet Tooth”: after the teaser, the Netflix adaptation gets its first official images; Check!

After releasing the first teaser for ‘Sweet Tooth’, Netflix released the series’ first official images.

Blending fantasy and adventure, the production is based on the famous DC Comics comics written by Jeff Lemire (“ Black Hammer ”) between 2009 and 2013.

The premiere is scheduled for June 4.

For those who don’t know, the plot takes place in a world populated by hybrids of humans and animals, and revolves around Gus, a hybrid between man and deer, who leaves his home and finds a world devastated by a cataclysmic event. He joins a gang of hybrids and humans who seek answers to the event and ends up uncovering a huge conspiracy that forces him to question his own existence.

Previously, Deadline reported that actress Aliza Vellani was promoted to regular character in the plot.

Vellani will bring Rani Singh to life, one of the many characters who intend to survive in the post-apocalyptic world.

She joins Neil Sandilands, Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar and Will Forte, previously announced. James Brolin enters as the production narrator.

Recalling that Robert Downey Jr. is overseeing the project.

The pilot episode is written and directed by Jim Mickle (“Stake Land – Violent Nightfall”).
