After appearing in the ‘WandaVision‘ series, Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) returns to the MCU in ‘The Marvels’ with a new superpower. The actress revealed that the character will now also be able to fly.
“Being able to fully realize Monica’s powers and fly is like, ‘Oh my god, we have a black superhero on screen with these other amazing female superheroes,'” said Parris, who has also talked about the importance of having a featured cast by women and from different locations.
“The Marvels” will also star Brie Larson as Carol Danvers and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel.
