“Spencer”: film starring Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana is TT in Brazil

After several delays, ‘Spencer’ has now had its expected premiere in national theaters. Diamond Films has confirmed that the film will hit theaters nationwide on January 27, 2023 – a week ahead of schedule.

On Rotten Tomatoes, the feature film directed by Pablo Larraín (‘LOVE: Lisey’s Story‘) has garnered 86% critical approval from critics, with 6 positive reviews and only one negative so far.

Kristen Stewart looks totally attractive in the title role. She does an awkward, polite performance like Diana, and it’s quite as it should when you consider that Diana herself put on a clumsy and polite performance herself, embellishing her innate and elegant high height with studied flirtatious trims. When she collapsed she lost her balance, it was like looking at a perfect woman who is actually imperfect. But Stewart effectively captures the agony of a woman so programmed and isolated who feels she has no escape and has lost sight of who she is.
