Acclaimed filmmaker Quentin Tarantino said in a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times that he would never make a movie for the Marvel and DC brands.
Straight-talking, Tarantino said he wasn’t looking for a job to work with these companies: “You have to be hired to do these things. I am not a hireable labor. I’m not looking for a job.”
However, according to Variety, at an event to promote his new book: Cinema Speculation, Tarantino was asked which Marvel movie he would like to direct. The filmmaker said there is currently only one film he would consider directing: “Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos. A very peculiar title.
