After winning its first official teaser, the new spin-off series “Power”, titled “Power Book III: Raising Kanan”, won its first official images.
The production follows Kanan’s early years, a character experienced in the original series by musician and actor 50 Cent.

The series will take place in the 90s and accompanies the beginning of the journey of Kanan, who died after an ambush plotted by Ghost (Omari Hardwick), Tasha (Naturi Naughton) and Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.).
In the plot, Mekai Curtis will bring the youngest Kanan to life, in a cast that still has Omar Epps (House), London Brown (Ballers) and Joey Bada $$ (Mr. Robot).
50 Cent returns as executive producer of “Power Book III: Raising Kanan”. The series debuts in the North American summer of 2023.
It should be remembered that broadcaster Starz has officially renewed the series “Power Book II: Ghost”, a spin-off of “Power”, for the 2nd season.
The broadcaster reported that the production became the most-watched series in the channel’s history, with nearly 7.5 million views live and via the app in the first week.

In Brazil, the series is launched weekly by Amazon Prime.
The plot will begin a few days after the end of the “Power” series. The new production will focus on Tariq as he deals with his new life and tries to be worthy of his father’s legacy. Starting college, which he must complete to secure his inheritance, one of his first assignments is to try to get his mother out of prison after trying to frame her boyfriend over Ghost’s death.
The cast includes Michael Rainey, Naturi Naughton, Mary J. Blige and LaToya Tonodeo.
