According to Comic Book, the Paramount + streaming service will launch in the United States and Latin America on March 4.
The news was announced today by ViacomCBS, making official the transformation of the CBS All Access brand into Paramount +.
The merger of CBS and Viacom will allow the streaming platform to expand its library to include content from broadcasters such as Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and Paramount Pictures.
Ahead of its launch, ViacomCBS promises to offer an overview of Paramount + and will explain its strategy to investors in a presentation to be held on February 24.
In September of last year, Bob Bakish, president of ViacomCBS, had already discussed the strategy of renaming the brand to attract audiences.

Marc DeBevoise, the company’s digital director, also celebrated the strategy:
“The response from consumers only in the first few weeks of the service’s expansion already shows the huge opportunity that awaits us when we bring these phenomenal brands of ViacomCBS together on one streaming platform under the new name Paramount +.”
In addition to announcing the rebranding, ViacomCBS unveiled a new set of original attractions scheduled for the service.

“The Offer”: A series of limited events based on the extraordinary experiences never before revealed by Oscar-winning producer Al Ruddy for his work on “The Godfather”.
The series will consist of 10 episodes written and produced by Michael Tolkin (“Escape at Dannemora” and “The Player”).
Ruddy will also serve as executive producer, with Emmy-winning producer Leslie Greif (“Hatfields & McCoys”) also being responsible for overseeing the scripts.
“Lioness”: A spy drama created by Taylor Sheridan (“Yellowstone”), who will also act as executive producer, alongside Jill Wagner, David Glasser, David Hutkin and Bob Yari.
Inspired by a CIA program, ‘Lioness’ follows a young Marine recruited to befriend the daughter of a terrorist in order to overthrow the organization from within. The series is produced by Paramount Network and 101 Studios.
“The Real Criminal Minds”: A true crime documentary series based on the hit CBS Television series and produced by XG Productions in partnership with ABC Signature.
One of the highlights will also be the musical grid which will bring a makeover to the Emmy-nominated series “Behind the Music”.
The new production will be titled ‘MTV’s Behind the Music – Top 40’, which will open MTV’s vault over the past 40 years to the 40 greatest artists of all time, through their voices and perspectives. .
The attraction will be produced by Creature Films and MTV Studios.
