‘Outlander’: Watch Caitriona Balfe’s Audition Video as Claire Fraser!

The beloved period drama “Outlander” is heading into its 7th season, and while the new cycle won’t premiere, fans can look forward to watching Caitriona Balfe’s audition video as protagonist Claire Fraser. .

The video in question was released by Sony Pictures Television via YouTube.

Recalling that, recently, Izzy Meikle-Small (“Snow White and the Hunter”) and Joey Phillips (“Billy Elliot”) were chosen to play brothers Rachel Hunter and Dr. Denzel Hunter.

Filming for the seventh iteration began in April in Scotland.

The duo joins previously confirmed Charles Vandervaart (“Lost in Space”), who will play William Ransom, Jamie’s secret son.

In season three, Jamie had a child with Geneva Dunsany. The child was brought up by Lord John, who became her stepfather after her mother’s death. William even appeared on the Season 4 show as a child when Lord John took his son to visit Jamie and Claire.

Based on the books by Diana Gabaldon, the historical drama follows Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), a World War II combat nurse who mysteriously finds herself in Scotland in 1743.

The cast includes Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Richard Rankin, Sophie Skelton, John Bell, Cesar Domboy, Lauren Lyle, Caitlin O’Ryan, Mark Lewis Jones, Jessica Reynolds and Alexander Vlahos.
