‘Nightbitch’: ‘Back to Prom’ actress joins Comic Horror cast with Amy Adams

According to Deadline, Mary Holland (“Back to the Prom”) has joined the cast of horror comic “Nightbitch,” which will star Amy Adams (“The Woman in the Window”).

Unfortunately, no details about his role have been released.

The cast will also include Scoot McNairy (“Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood”).

Marielle Heller (“A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood”) will direct.

The plot follows a woman who is forced into a family routine raising her newborn son in the suburbs, who slowly embraces the wild side of motherhood as she becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and unmistakable signs that she might become a puppy.

The film is based on the book of the same name by Rachel Yoder, who also wrote the screenplay for the adaptation.

Adams will also serve as producer alongside Megan Ellison and Stacy O’Neil. Yoder joins as executive producer.

“Nightbitch” is set to release directly on Hulu’s streaming service.
