Contrary sensations very well put together in a plot that deals with social issues in a sharp, funny and often quite moving way.

Check out the reviews:

“The particularity of ‘Mo’ is that he avoids falling into a shocking denunciation of racism to focus on smaller situations where the prejudices are light and perhaps unintentional, without ever losing sight of his irony, his sarcasm and his humor.” – Otroscines.

“‘Mo’ is a great new series and a welcome addition to the Netflix library, I hope everyone will watch so we can have as many seasons as possible.” – iDobi.

“While some situations may border on the absurd, the series also retains enough grounding to remain realistic and even relatable when it comes to relationships and family dramas.” – Chris Joyce.

“’Mo’ is the kind of series that makes it clear that there’s a big difference between olive oil and ‘real’ hummus and the watered down, westernized versions we’re used to. And if you think that only applies to food, you’re missing the point. – Stable cut ready.

“Despite [alguns] little bumps in the road, ‘Mo’ remains a naturally compelling series, largely because of the thrilling dissonance between Mo’s gregariousness and the deep wells of historical pain hidden below. – RogerEbert.com.

“Ramy fans shouldn’t just expect more of the same, but ‘Mo’ tells a sharp, funny and often quite moving story that is well worth hearing.” – The independent.
