In an interview with TVLine, actor Ryan Eggold revealed how the third season of the medical drama “ New Amsterdam ” will tackle the current COVID pandemic.
“We have all been through a lot and we have all been affected by the pandemic in one way or another, especially frontline healthcare professionals, our nurses, our doctors, everyone who has sacrificed so much. to fight it and try to keep people safe and healthy. So, when we started the season, our first responsibility was to reflect this struggle and the intensity of this experience for these healthcare professionals, how much they sacrifice and the difficulty of the job that they have had and continue to have. .
