“Moon Knight”? Video shows Oscar Isaac trains martial arts for mysterious role

Oscar Isaac was recently announced as the protagonist of upcoming adaptations of ‘Metal Gear Solid’ and ‘Knight of the Moon’ …

And it looks like he’s already training for one of those roles …

In a video posted to Instagram, Isaac shows off his martial arts skills, and given his fighting style, he’s likely to replicate the Marvel hero’s moves.

In the video, the star takes down and defeats multiple opponents with ease using acrobatics … quite different from Solid Snake’s military tactics.

In addition, the filming of “Moon Knight” is scheduled to begin in March, in the city of Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Recalling that May Calamawy (‘Ramy’) and Ethan Hawke (‘The Predestined’) were also announced as part of the cast, but without details on who their characters will be.

Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson (“Synchronic”) will be the directors of the series, based on scripts written by Jeremy Slate (“Umbrella Academy”).

For those who don’t know, the Moon Knight is Marc Spector, a mercenary with several personalities – cab driver Jake Lockley and millionaire Steven Grant – who help him take on the criminal underworld. Soon it becomes a channel for Khonshu, an Egyptian moon god. The Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, and was introduced in Werewolf by Night # 32.
