Mike Tyson is very angry with the producers and the series “Mike: Beyond Tyson”. In a post on social media, the athlete accuses the Hulu stream of not paying him a cent for using his story, which he was not even authorized to do, according to him.
The boxer took to social media to show his displeasure with the company’s lack of payment. Highlighting the injustice of a company profiting off his biography without passing on some of those profits, the boxer posted a statement on Instagram.
“Hulu is the streaming version of master slave. They stole my story and didn’t pay me. Don’t let Hulu fool you. I can’t stand their story about my life. It’s not 1822. It’s 2022. They sold my story and didn’t pay me. To Hulu executives, I’m just a simpleton they can auction off.”
“Mike: Beyond Tyson” features Trevante Rhodes in the lead role and Harvey Keitel, Laura Harrier and Suzette Lange in the cast. The series arrives in Brazil via Star+ on August 25.
