The royal commentator has indeed noted a certain inconsistency on the part of the Duchess of Sussex. While in Archetypes Markle pledged to eradicate the “dumb blonde” bias, in the past she’s ridden the wave of similar biases for her work.

There she played a valet role, which she gave up after 34 episodes as it made her feel “not at all smart”. He concluded by stating that he hopes his daughter Lilibet will one day be judged “for her intelligence and not for her beauty”.

The famous author Angela Levin has indeed criticized the remarks of Meghan Markle by declaring that she was not very grateful for a job, which she nevertheless agreed to do.
