‘Legends of Tomorrow’: Dominic Purcell to quit the series’ fixed cast

Through his Instagram, actor Dominic Purcell (“ Prison Break ”) announced – in a post he has already deleted – that he will be leaving the cast of “ Legends of Tomorrow ” after six seasons.

“The deal is not closed. It does not interest me [em retornar] – no matter how much money they throw at me. I am leaving “Legends of Tomorrow”. It was a great pleasure and a great experience bringing this iconic DC character to life. I played this role – no other actor in this world could do better, ”he says.

Despite this, according to TVLine, Purcell will continue to appear sporadically in season seven, as part of a new deal with producer / coshowrunner Phil Klemmer.

The next cycle will officially begin on May 2.
