Felix Silla, Itt’s cousin of ‘The Addams Family’, dies at 84

Actor and double stuntman Felix Silla, best known for playing Primo Itt in the classic ‘The Addams Family’, has died aged 84.

According to THR, Silla died on Friday (16) after losing a battle with pancreatic cancer.

The actor played Primo Itt in several episodes of the original series “The Addams Family”, between 1965 and 1966. Later he appeared in several other popular series, such as “HR Pufnstuf”, “The Witch”, ” Gallery do Terror ”,“ Lidsville ”,“ Galactica: Combat Spaceship ”,“ Buck Rogers ”,“ The Gatões ”and the original“ Star Trek ”.

Silla reprized her role as Primo Itt in the film “ Halloween with the New Addams Family ” (1977), returning alongside original cast members John Astin and Carolyn Jones.

He has also appeared in several horror films, including “ The Snake Man ”, “ Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark ”, “ Proteus Generation ”, “ Manitou – The Evil Spirit ”, ‘The Sons of Fear’, ‘Ragewar’ and ‘Casa do Espanto’. As a stuntman he has worked on ‘Poltergeist: The Phenomenon’, ‘Gone Mad at the Monsters’ and’ Phantom 2 ‘, as well as’ ET: The Extraterrestrial’, ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’, ‘Howard the Super -Hero ”and“ Batman: The Return ”.

In 1983, Silla played Ewok in “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi”.

The actor lived with his wife, Sue, with whom he had two children, Bonnie and Michael.
