The revival of Law & Order continues to gain more information day by day and now a new member has been chosen (via ComicBook.com).
Reports state that Odelya Halevi, known for her work on ‘Good Trouble’, has been signed to the series and will give birth to Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun in Season 21.
Halevi joins Jill Hennessy, Angie Harmon, Elisabeth Rohm, Hugh Dancy and Jeffrey Donovan, previously announced. Anthony Anderson has also seen his return confirmed as Detective Kevin Bernard. The character was introduced in Season 18 of the original series, where he remained until his completion.
NBC has announced that production will begin on February 24, 2023.
In an official statement, creator Dick Wolf said, “There are few things in life that are literally dreams come true. It’s mine.”
Last season’s cast included names such as Jeremy Sisto, Anthony Anderson, S. Epatha Merkerson, Linus Roache, Alana De La Garza and Sam Waterston.

It should be remembered that in 2015 NBC attempted to develop a revival of “Law & Order”, in a 10-episode miniseries format, but the project ended up being scrapped.
The spin-offs “Law & Order: SVU” and “Law & Order: Organized Crime” remain active in the broadcaster’s program.
