Iconic Oscar-winning popstar Lady Gaga and legendary multi-Grammy winner Tony Bennett did well at the 2022 Grammy nominations ceremony and are vying for no less than five statuettes.
Gaga and Bennett compete for Album of the Year and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for the famous ‘Love for Sale’, and were honored in the categories Record of the Year, Best Pop Performance in Duo / Group and Best Music Video for lead single “I Can Kick You.” The album also competes in the Best Album Engineering section.
Bennett previously won the Album of the Year award in 1995, with a chance to finish second in the category. Gaga, in turn, has been nominated for the fourth time and could win her first prize. His other nominations were for his albums “The Fame”, “The Fame Monster” and “Born This Way”.
The winners will be announced on January 31, 2022.
